How to treat the radiation problem of LED panel lights

How to treat the radiation problem of LED panel lights

At present, the spectrum of LED panel lights for lighting is mainly concentrated in the visible light region, with almost no components of ultraviolet and infrared radiation, mainly related to the hazard of light radiation intensity (including blue light radiation hazard). The flexible LED panel light source is still very advantageous in this regard, and its photobiological safety protection is relatively simple.

The total amount of radiation generated by each light source point of the LED panel light is not large, far less than the HID (high intensity gas discharge) light source, but it can concentrate a small amount of energy in a certain direction, although it is not as strong as a laser, However, local light intensity hazards should also be paid special attention. In fact, applying different light sources to different places can play a part in the protection work.

At present, LED panel lights are very desirable to be used as garden lights, tunnel lights, and in indoor places such as commercial lighting and office lighting. With the advancement of LED lighting technology and the reduction of prices, at the same time, the rising price of phosphors has brought cost pressure to traditional lighting, which has provided a good opportunity for LED panel lights to enter the field of indoor lighting.

However, once the LED panel light enters the indoor lighting, its safety problem will become more prominent. If it is made into a spotlight, a desk lamp, a flashlight, a laser lecture pen, etc., it will arouse the interest of children, and its safety will appear more for important. For example, a small laser lecture pen, if directly irradiated into a child's eye, will damage the retina of the child's eye. The hazard of LED lighting radiant intensity is objective, and it is also the part that enterprises should protect most.

It is very important and very difficult to correctly detect the evaluation index of the radiant intensity of LED lighting lighting. Even if the LED lighting module meets the requirements, the lighting does not necessarily meet the requirements; the lighting should also consider the light distribution, and the direction of the maximum light intensity is not easily recognized by the human eye, and must be carefully searched. These are not only domestic problems, but also bottlenecks in this field in terms of international testing.
